ABOUT

My practice promotes patient education while emphasizing quality of life at all stages of life.

I became interested in Chinese medicine after lifelong travels abroad revealed the need for accessible healthcare and the demand for a medicine which seeks to achieve and maintain the health of the individual as a whole. Chinese medicine offers a theoretical framework to clearly diagnose and treat patients as they change due to life stage and life circumstance. It invites the patient to partake in their health through lifestyle practices and is specific to individual needs as they change over time.

I am equally committed to preventive medicine in addition to treating chronic and acute patterns. I am happy to work alongside individuals who are seeking alternative care, complimentary care, and/or general wellness coaching.

After attending UC Berkeley for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Peace and Conflict studies, I went on to receive my Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in Asheville, North Carolina in 2017. In 2020, I completed my Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California.

My practice includes acupuncture along with classical adjunct therapies such as tuina (Chinese medical massage), cupping, moxibustion, food therapy, medical qi gong, and herbal medicine.
